In recent years, Covenant has made it a priority to expand our cancer research program and clinical trial offerings. Covenant has become a member of the NRG, an oncology non-profit research organization formed to conduct clinical research and share the results. This will give Covenant patients increased access to clinical trials of new treatments and procedures.

Recent clinical trials conducted by Covenant involved new approaches to the diagnosis of breast cancer, a new radiotherapy treatment for liver tumors, and a new drug to treat women with advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer.
