Neurological Rehabilitation

The neurological program at Covenant Healthcare specializes in providing individual and/or multidisciplinary therapy evaluations and treatments to patients with neurological impairments-from newborns to the elderly.

Patients who can benefit from neurological rehabilitation include patients with:

  • Brain injury or tumor
  • Brain aneurysm/subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding in the area between the brain and the thin tissues that cover it)
  • Stroke
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Guillian-Barre syndrome
  • Encephalitis
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Meningitis
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Neuropathy
  • Myopathy
  • Various other neurological diagnoses

 

Our services include a thorough evaluation and functional assessment, customized therapy programs, patient and family education, training, goal-setting and planning-tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Our goal is for patients to achieve their highest level of independence possible through high mobility, self-care and community reintegration.
