Agility testing is a specialized test to determine physical agility and ability. It is required by certain employers for job placement. As a prospective employee you are required to pass a test of physical agility as requirement of employment.
The test consists of two phases, physical agility and physical ability or exam. Both parts are to be completed on the same day. The test is formatted on a pass/fail structure. Failure to successfully complete any part of phase I or II means failure of the entire test.
After failure of any part of the testing, the applicant will be given an opportunity to retest. The test simulates any number of job-related activities such as climbing, lifting, flexibility, etc. The results are used in combination with any other job screening procedures that are set up by the employer such as drug testing.
