Located within Covenant Medical Center Harrison, the Covenant Children's Hospital offers comprehensive medical care and treatment for children. From diabetes to orthopedics, asthma and other respiratory problems to traumatic injury, we provide quality, compassionate care for all pediatric illnesses and injuries.

Physician and Patient

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

The William F. McNally Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), located on the second floor of Covenant Medical Center Harrison, cares for infants and children through age 17 whose critical illnesses or injuries require specialized 24-hour monitoring and treatment, and specialized equipment to care for critically ill children. The PICU has a specifically trained professional staff with the experience and confidence to treat every pediatric medical emergency – from trauma to head injury to respiratory failure.

Board-certified pediatric intensivists staff the PICU, providing 24-hour support and direct care. Pediatric intensivists are pediatricians with extensive training in caring for seriously ill children. Your child's medical team may also include surgeons or other specialists when necessary. Often, your family physician or pediatrician is also part of this team, ensuring every aspect of your child's care is addressed.
