Pediatric Rehabilitation

Our Pediatric Rehabilitation Services utilize physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology to treat the wide variety of rehabilitation needs in children. Our team uses fun and age appropriate activities to help them achieve the best outcome.

We can provide support to children with:

  • Brain injuries
  • Cleft lip and palate
  • Developmental delays (gross and fine motor skills)
  • Feeding/swallowing difficulties
  • Genetic disorders
  • Neurological impairment
  • Orthopedic injuries
  • Sensory integration disabilities
  • Speech or language delays

Our treatment services include:

  • Activities of daily living (dressing, feeding, etc.)
  • Balance training (sitting and standing)
  • Gait training (education on assistive devices)
  • Infant stimulation (oral, motor and touch)
  • Positioning (posture and muscle tone)
  • Range of motion (exercise)

If you notice any of the following in your child, please contact your physician for a referral to Covenant Pediatric Rehabilitation Services:

  • Abnormal movement
  • Abnormal walking patterns
  • Excessive clumsiness, floppiness or stiffness
  • Excessive or limited joint mobility
  • Muscle weakness
  • Need for adaptive equipment or assistive devices
  • Poor eye-hand coordination
