Thursday, April 2, Covenant HealthCare Laboratory was validated to immediately begin processing tests for COVID-19/SARS2. Due to the limited number of test kits, the Covenant Lab will only be used to process tests for patients who are hospitalized, and patients admitted through the Covenant Emergency Care Center (ECC) with suspected COVID-19 infection. Covenant joins others in county to establish COVID-19 Screening & Sampling Centers
As part of a county-wide effort to screen people for COVID-19 and sample those meeting the CDC recommendation for testing, Covenant has plans to open a drive-through site at a Covenant campus. Emergency Care Center Outdoor Triage
Covenant Emergency Care Center screening all patients before entering the building.
