Covenant HealthCare was notified that Wolverine Solutions Group (“WSG”) was a victim of a ransomware attack that impacted millions of individuals nation-wide. WSG reported this incident to local law enforcement authorities and the FBI. The WSG forensic teams discovered evidence that Covenant patient information may have been included on the impacted servers. Covenant HealthCare added the Great Lakes Bay Region’s first Senior Emergency Care Center in 2017 with the senior population in mind.
