Medical Moments: Lung Cancer Screening

Early detection saves lives. Covenant HealthCare will offer lung cancer screening appointments on Saturday, November 11 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for eligible patients.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• 50 to 80 years of age.
• Currently smoke or have quit in the past 15 years.
• Have at least a 20 pack-year smoking history.
• Patients need to complete a Shared Decision Making visit and Smoking Cessation Counseling prior to the screening.
• Patients who are on oxygen therapy, have a pacemaker or implanted Harrington Rod are not eligible.
