Covenant Volunteers Annual Spring Fling Flower Fundraiser

The Covenant Volunteers Annual Spring Fling fundraiser is just around the corner. Spring Fling will be here on Thursday, May 11 to continue the tradition of selling beautiful hanging baskets of geraniums, petunias, and impatiens—just in time for Mother’s Day!

Rain or shine, you can purchase hanging plant baskets for $25 at Bliss Park (adjacent to Covenant Cooper and Harrison) from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and Mackinaw Campus (5400 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw 48604) from 10:00am – 2:00 pm

Cash, card, check, and payroll deduction (for employees) can be used to purchase flowers and plants.

Snacks and refreshments will also be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks at Bliss Park, including:

  • Makin’ Bacon (7:00 am – 1:00 pm)
  • Waffle Hut (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • Detroit Lemon Squeeze (11:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • I Want That Kettle Corn (11:00 am – 5:00 pm)
50/50 raffle tickets will also be sold at the event.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of MidMichigan Hospitality Cart. Our hospitality cart supports and comforts individuals who spend extended periods of time at the hospital with their critically ill children. Volunteers round our pediatric and neonatal units with our colorful hospitality cart, offering free snacks, toiletries, boredom busters, and more to patients and their visitors.

Be sure to grab a basket or two for yourself and the special people in your life—fresh flowers are a sure way to brighten anyone’s day!
