Covenant Regional Thumb Network
What is the Covenant Regional Thumb Network?
The Covenant Regional Thumb Network (CRTN) is a network of six independent hospitals, including Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, and five critical access hospitals in Michigan's Thumb area: Deckerville Community Hospital, Harbor Beach Community Hospital, Hills & Dales General Hospital, Marlette Regional Hospital and Scheurer Health.
While the Network was officially established in 2018, these hospitals have been working together for more than a decade to make high-quality medical care available to communities throughout the Thumb area.
The Network's Purpose
The affiliation relationship of the Covenant Regional Thumb Network ensures that Thumb communities have an independent hospital close to home that they can depend on for high-quality care. It also assures that should the need arise for more advanced procedures, extraordinary care is delivered through the highly coordinated relationship between the Thumb hospitals and Covenant.
Advantages for the Community
The Covenant Regional Thumb Network:

- Preserves complete independence of local community hospitals in the Network
Covenant HealthCare is proud to be a part of the CRTN, collaborating to make extraordinary care available to communities throughout the Thumb area.
