Covenant is a part of the Veterans’ Choice program, which allows veterans to receive care at Covenant for services outside of what the VA normally provides. This ensures you have access to the timely, quality care you need when you need it, right here in our community.
The VA Medical Center is the primary coordinator of your medical care, and will refer you to Covenant when necessary; Covenant is here to provide whatever backup is needed to ensure your care is prompt and seamless.
However, in an emergency, time is all that matters, and no referral is necessary. Come directly to the Covenant Emergency Care Center and we will contact the VA on your behalf to coordinate care.
