Cosmetic Procedures

Body Contouring
Body contouring includes procedures such as abdominoplasty and brachioplasty. Abdominoplasty, more commonly referred to as a tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure which flattens your abdomen by removing extra fat and skin, and tightening muscles in your abdominal wall. Brachioplasty is a surgical procedure to remove loose skin and excess fat deposits in the upper arm. This is because with age or excessive weight loss, upper arm skin can become loose and flabby.

Brazilian Butt Lift
A Brazilian Butt Lift is a specialized fat transfer procedure that improves the size and shape of the buttocks without implants. Instead, excess fat is removed from the hips, abdomen, lower back or thighs with liposuction, and a portion of this fat is then strategically injected into the buttocks.

Covenant experts are among the only physicians in the area poised to improve proportions of the entire lower body with Brazilian Butt Lift surgery, while also helping a patient lose fat in common "problem areas".

Breast Augmentation
Cosmetic procedure used to increase the size of breasts with silicone or saline implants.

Breast Lift / Mastopexy
Refers to cosmetic procedures designed to lift or change the shape of a person's breasts. Mastopexy may involve repositioning the areola and nipple, as well as lifting the breast tissue and removing skin. Mastopexy may be performed alone, or in combination with placement of breast implants.

Breast Reduction
A surgical procedure performed to reduce the volume of breast tissue.

Ears / Otoplasty
Otoplasty is a surgical procedure that sets back prominent ears closer to the head. For many people, having prominent ears may be the cause of some embarrassment. Otoplasty can help enhance the way they look and boost their confidence levels.

Eyelids / Blepharoplasty
Surgically removes fat, excess skin, bags, pouches, and wrinkles in the upper or lower eyelids.

Face Lift
Surgically removes wrinkles and other signs of aging from your face. An incision is made near the hair line and skin is pulled back and excess tissue is removed.

Fat Grafting
Fat Grafting is a cosmetic procedure where your own fat is used to rejuvenate the face, augment the cheeks or lips, or correct problems such as hollowness around the eyes or acne scars. Many people lose facial fat as they age and develop a hollow or gaunt look. Fat grafting can be used to correct this and give a younger, more refreshed look. Fat grafting is also referred to as free fat transfer. Some of the fat reimplanted is reabsorbed within a few months, but some of the augmentation will be permanent.

Forehead / Brow Lift
Also called a browplasty - this procedure is used to elevate a drooping eyebrow that may obstruct vision. It may also remove deep “worry” lines that run across the forehead that may unintentionally make a person appear angry, stern, hostile, or fatigued.

Liposuction removes fat from many different parts on the body. Areas affected can range from the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, to the neck, backs of the arms and elsewhere. Liposuction is not a low-effort alternative to exercise and diet and is not a weight-loss alternative. It’s a form of body contouring that serves as a cosmetic enhancement.

"Mommy Makeover" Tummy Tuck
A highly individualized process of restoring the shape and appearance of a woman's body after childbirth.

Male Breast Reduction / Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is a condition in which the male's breast tissue enlarges. Gynecomastia literally means "woman breast." This increase in tissue usually occurs at times when the male is having hormonal changes, such as during infancy, adolescence, and old age. Breast reduction surgery may be performed to reduce the size of the breasts for a more pleasing cosmetic appearance.

Post-weigh-loss body contouring
Helps with excess skin removal after bariatric surgery of other methods of significant weigh loss.

Upper body lift
One or more procedures, including upper arm lift, breast lift, gynecomastia and/or back lift to improve the contour of the upper body.
