Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Covenant HealthCare's Mackinaw Campus offers people with chronic lung disorders a safe, welcoming and professional environment in which to improve the health-related quality of their lives.

Our multi-disciplinary team assists people with chronic lung disorders to better manage their symptoms, increase their physical endurance, and maximize their individual functional capacity.

Our experienced Pulmonary Rehabilitation team includes physicians, respiratory therapists, exercise physiologists, nurses, dieticians and social work counselors. Participants will receive education and training on self-management skills, progressive, monitored exercise sessions and an invitation to the Better Breathers Society support group meetings.

Our friendly credentialed staff provides participants with the necessary information and tools to achieve better physical and emotional health.

Physicians referring patients to Covenant HealthCare's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program can expect the following:

  • Communication of Patient Assessment Scoring and Progress
  • Individualized Treatment Plans
  • Monitored exercise sessions by ACLS certified staff
  • Patient Assessment with AACVPR Recommended Tools
  • Patient Education Including Self-Management Strategies
