Labor & Delivery Class - Saginaw

This class focuses on the birth process with the goal of the class to help you and your support person understand the stages of labor and how your body/mind is changing. With that understanding, Covenant hopes to offer you methods of relaxation, positions for comfort, etc. to help you work with your body rather than against it. You will also gain an understanding of what happens with vaginal birth as well as a cesarean birth, and finally, touch on the post-partum care of mom.

The class is held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Covenant Harrison, 1447 N. Harrison St., Saginaw, MI 48602, on the first floor in Siderooms C & D, or Andersen Center First Floor Lecture Theater at 1020 Almira St., Saginaw, MI 48602; location will be communicated via letter about one week before class. Please bring a pillow, yoga mat, blanket, or beach towel to put on the floor. Please also feel free to bring snacks, something to drink, and a lunch for you and your support person. You may also use visit our cafeteria and Subway restaurant.

The fee for this series is $60. At this time, Medicaid and certain Health Plus providers are the only insurances that will cover this fee. Please check with your carrier before assuming the cost will be covered.
