Chad Ringley, MD, FACS, Medical Director
Fellowship Trained / Board Certified
Dr. Ringley earned his medical degree from Indiana University's School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Manchester College. He completed his general surgery residency with Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals (now CMU College of Medicine) and is fellowship trained in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery from the University of Nebraska's Medical Center. He routinely performs bariatric surgery and is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, the Christian Medical and Dental Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Jason Kuhn, DO
Fellowship Trained / Board Certified
Dr. Kuhn earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL and his undergraduate degree from University of Michigan. He completed his general surgery residency with St. John Macomb/Oakland and is fellowship trained in advanced minimally invasive and bariatric surgery from the Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Dr. Kuhn is a member of Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgery – American Society of Metabolic Bariatric Surgery – American Osteopathic Association.

Libby Palmer, RN, BSN, Bariatric Program Administrator
Libby received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saginaw Valley State University and has experience in both clinical and surgical nursing at Covenant HealthCare. She has also received her certification as a Bariatric Coach, Support Group Leader, Back on Track and Success Habits instructor through Bariatric Support Centers International. In addition, Libby is a bariatric patient and understands the pathway to surgery as well as the lifestyle changes needed for better health and long-term weight loss. She brings great passion to provide support and guidance to the Covenant Bariatric and Metabolic Center and looks forward to assisting patients through all of the phases leading up to and following bariatric surgery.

Misty Potts, RDN, Dietitian
Misty is a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of healthcare and wellness experience. She has earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology and Dietetics from Central Michigan University. She provides nutrition evaluation and weight management nutrition counseling for patients prior to bariatric surgery, as well as medical nutrition therapy and counseling for post-bariatric surgery patients. She participates in bariatric support groups to include periodic nutrition and behavior change education. Her training and experience in weight management include a focus on individualized, realistic goal setting for permanent lifestyle changes to aid positive weight management outcomes for improved health and well-being.

Marcia, Medical Assistant
Marcia has been working in the medical field for more than 20 years. She has an Associate Degree from Great Lakes Junior College. She is here to assist patients, answer questions, schedule testing, and help support patients along their way to achieve successful weight loss.
