Life Net of Michigan
24 hour Air Medical Transport Service
When it comes to serious illness or injury, minutes matter. LifeNet of Michigan, in affiliation with Covenant HealthCare and the Emergency Care Center, provide 24-hour round the clock helicopter transport services to all hospitals in mid-Michigan, the Thumb and northern region of Michigan’s lower peninsula.
As a regional tertiary medical center, Covenant serves as a critical care access facility for community hospitals in the Thumb area, accepting patients who require a level of care beyond what the local hospital is able to provide. LifeNet of Michigan will serve any hospital in the region to transport patients to Covenant or any other designated tertiary care center for medical treatment.
What's more, Covenant provides comprehensive specialty services not available at other hospitals north of Flint, including pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and high-risk obstetric care. Covenant also provides advanced medical specialties such as comprehensive cardiovascular services, a nationally ranked orthopedic program, neurosciences, surgery and trauma care. The affiliation between Covenant and LifeNet of Michigan increases our ability to speed adult and pediatric patients to the medical care they need, helping to save lives.
