Annual Women’s Cancer Survivors event
In 1999, Heidi sought out her birth family to find out about her health history. What she did not expect was that she would find a sister – Jen! Their bond was instant and they both fully embraced their relationship. Then over the course of 5 years, they were both diagnosed with breast cancer. The news accelerated as they learned they carry the BRCA 2 Breast Cancer Gene which puts them and potentially their children at greater risk for future cancers.
Heidi and Jen have entirely different coping techniques which proves there are many paths to healing. Their presentation is powerful, natural, fluid and straight from the heart.
You should prepare for a wild ride of emotions as you laugh, cry and celebrate life! These sisters will always have their “skin tight jeans” and their “skin tight genes” to get them through tough times.
