Free Breast Health Screening

Covenant Cancer Care Center Offers

FREE Mammograms for Uninsured/Underinsured Women

Thursday, September 12 and Thursday, September 26

Thanks to the generous donations of many local organizations and individuals to the Covenant HealthCare Foundation CARE fund, the Covenant Cancer Care Center is offering two free breast health screenings on Thursday, September 12 and Thursday, September 26 at the Covenant Breast Health Center, 5400 Mackinaw, Saginaw, MI.

These screenings are available for women who meet the following criteria:

  • Age 40 or over
  • Are uninsured or their insurance does not cover mammograms
  • Have not had a mammogram for at least 12 months
  • Have no current breast problems
  • Are residents of Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Sanilac, St. Clair or Tuscola Counties

People who meet these criteria can call 989.583.5020 option #1 today to schedule a free clinical breast exam and digital mammogram performed by experienced physicians and technologists.  Advance appointments are required and space is limited.

Please help us spread the word about the benefits of early detection to others in your life- your mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and relatives.

American Cancer Society statistics show that about 95 percent of new breast cancer cases occur in women over 40, and one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Regular screenings for breast cancer can usually detect it at an earlier, more treatable stage. The five-year survival rate among early-stage cancer patients is 98 percent.
