This workout will take your fitness routine to the next level using a ballet barre, bands and your body to help you achieve your ideal physical shape and well being. You will see strength improvements in your abdominal and back muscles. The added resistance from the magic circle and use of other small equipment (ball, foam rollers and resistance bands) will enhance your workout.
Learn basic yoga postures with emphasis on safe body alignment. Work on developing strength, flexibility and balance. This class is for total beginners to yoga, as well as continuing students who want to refine their basic yoga positions.
Are you looking for a change of pace from the traditional aerobics class? Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin, international, and hip-hop music. Zumba creates a non-intimidating, party-like atmosphere, with energizing movements designed to be fun and easy to do. You do not need to know how to dance to succeed at Zumba. Zumba is designed for everyone. People of any age or fitness love can enjoy this class. Zumba is "exercise in disguise" -- participants are having so much fun, they do not even realize they are exercising. Class taught by a certified instructor. Class taught at the Mackinaw Campus.
