Home infusion therapy
Covenant Visiting Nurse Association is the only area home care provider to offer complete home infusion therapy services for medical conditions ranging from congestive heart failure to diabetes. Through infusion therapy, medications, nutrients, and other treatments can be delivered to the patient into the bloodstream, under the skin, into the digestive system, and into the membranes surrounding the spinal cord. Services include:
- Antibiotic therapy
- Hydration therapy
- IV immune globulin
- Positive inotropic therapy
- Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
- 24-hour, on-call service
- Licensed clinical pharmacists
- Pain management
- Steroid therapy
