Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a therapeutic approach performed by a specially trained and licensed physical therapist who works with the spine, the skull and its cranial sutures, fascia (connective tissue) and diaphragms to alleviate a range of sensory, motor and/or neurological disorders. It is used as both a primary treatment method and in combination with other traditional or complementary techniques. During craniosacral therapy, our physical therapists use a light-touch manual approach that has been shown to be effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and loss of function.

Our craniosacral therapy will treat the following conditions:

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Migraine headaches
  • Chronic neck and back pain
  • Orthopedic problems
  • Scoliosis
  • Stress and tension-related problems
  • Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ)
